Cashius Monetarius: Folded Money Origami Fun!

Money Plant Tree Gift Project e-Book Introduction

Grow Dollar Bills in a Flower Pot!

By Chris Dunmire

They say that money doesn't grow on trees, but who says you can't grow it in a flower pot! With a little bit of creativity and imagination anything is possible!

My Origami Money Plant Tree makes a wonderful centerpiece for any party and the perfect gift for those times when cash is the best gift of all for your recipient including: graduations, anniversaries, birthdays, retirements, and other special occasions. Best of all, YOU decide how much your gift will be worth and then fold the dollar denominations accordingly into "leaves" that appear to grow out of the plant.

The plant pictured on the seed packet is made up of 24 folded bills of various denominations. This is a flexible project money worth-wise since you can use any denomination of bills you choose — $1, $5, $10, $20, or higher — it's up to you to decide how much you wish to 'gift' away!

The Origami Money Plant Tree is a versatile project too. Once you understand the basic project design, you can customize it to your own specifications depending on the purpose or theme of the gift. People have written to me with their stories of customizing the plant for graduations, bridal showers, birthday presents, and my favorite: a retired banker's gift!

As an added bonus, I've also included two joke/gag Money Plant Seed Packets in the downloadable e-book file you can print to accompany your gift. Learn more about the Money Plant Seed packet.
